London Carpentry Specialists was founded by Brian Bolger, an Indentured Master Carpenter and Joiner who completed his Indentured Apprenticeship alongside John over 35 years ago. Brian’s reputation for excellence has seen him complete bespoke work on both residential and commercial properties, bringing lost or rare skills to homes and projects where true craftsmanship is needed. His portfolio includes work for high-profile clients, such as the home of David and Victoria Beckham, as well as the fabrication and installation of a staircase in a £70 million residence in Holland Park, London.

Alongside his two brothers—who apprenticed with Brian and remain key partners of London Carpentry Specialists having tackled intricate projects demanding not only technical expertise but also innovation and inventive problem-solving. Together, Brian and his family have continued to elevate industry standards, always striving for superior results.

A defining moment came during a visit to a homeowner in Wandsworth, where the Bolger family envisioned a new approach to loft conversions that would empower the community while nurturing the next generation of tradespeople. This vision led to the creation of the New Loft Version (NLV), officially registered in May 2025. 

Though a recent addition, NLV has already secured confirmed contracts and piqued the interest of over 50 homeowners, all without the need for advertising.
